I've attended two world-famous gem shows in the last few years. In 2018, I flew to Las Vegas, hired a car, and drove south to Tucson to attend the renowned Tucson show. Last year, I flew to Germany, met up with a friend, and together we drove south to visit the St Marie Aux Mines in France. In both cases, it was such an enriching experience and I loved every minute!
These events are an incredible opportunity to learn from experts and enthusiasts about various gemstones, their origins, and unique characteristics. I attended workshops and listened to speakers talking about the latest trends in the gemstone market. I discovered rare finds and found a couple of gemstones to add to my modest collection.
